Mark Akin is the president and the lead electrical engineer at Akin Brooks. With experience in the industry since 1997, Mark's primary roles within the company include business development and engineering. Mark is also a PE, RCDD, and a LEED AP BD+C. Mark graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Prior to joining Akin Brooks, Mark was a partner at a local firm and also led the electrical engineering team there. Outside of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with family, working out, and playing guitar.
